Successful Breeding!!

We are so excited to announce that Hilo and Cleveland had 3 ties over the last several days!  We will ultrasound in a month to confirm pregnancy......but assume that all is well; which means we expect puppies to be born around May 25th :))  Hilo did such a great job and is being spoiled with homemade dehydrated sweet potato treats ;) If things happen the same as before.....we will likely notice Hilo becoming more tired over the next few weeks.  She will be done her outings with our dog walker until the puppies have all gone home as we want to make sure she has lots of energy......and also be cautious about potentially exposing her to things that could make her or the babies sick.  It is so amazing that it only takes about 63 days (ovulation to birth) to develop a whole litter of puppies!!  We can't wait for their arrival and will start to prepare the whelping box and supplies soon as the time will fly by :))  Continue to check back often as I will post updates and pictures to let you know how things are going.
